Gauthier de Tessières wins the silver medal at the Schlaming World Skiing Championships

The French skier, who counts CIAT amongst his partners, won the first French medal on Wednesday coming second in the Super-G during the World Cup in Schlaming, Austria.

Gauthier de Tessières’ silver is the best French performance in Super G in the history of the World Championships.  

Indeed, it is only the second medal won by a French skier in super G in the history of the World Championships. The last medal was won by Franck Piccard in 1991 who took the 3^rd place in Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
