The French skier, who counts CIAT amongst his partners, won the first French medal on Wednesday coming second in the Super-G during the World Cup in Schlaming, Austria.
Gauthier de Tessières’ silver is the best French performance in Super G in the history of the World Championships.
Indeed, it is only the second medal won by a French skier in super G in the history of the World Championships. The last medal was won by Franck Piccard in 1991 who took the 3rd place in Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
Congratulations Gauthier for this great performance which has put CIAT on the podium.
