Evaluating our suppliers, partners of CIAT's "extended enterprise"

CIAT now evaluates the environmental practices of its suppliers with a threefold objective:

• to ensure their commitment to our environmental protection strategy.
• to extend the CIAT ecodesign programme initiated in 2008 to its industrial entities certified ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• to integrate our suppliers' best practices and ideas into our product developments.

CIAT's suppliers are regularly re-evaluated on the basis of the actions they have implemented,
either alone or in conjunction with CIAT.
