CIAT launches ECOBOX, a heat recovery system which draws energy from extracted air.

• Energy saving is one of main concerns of building managers

• The needs for Domestic Hot Water is an increasingly important concern for residential type buildings such hotels, old people's homes, collective housing...

• Regulations impose the renewal of air. In order to compensate for this introduction of fresh air, air is extracted from the building. This air represents a significant source of energy which can be recovered in different ways (heat pipes, plate heat recovery...) or today from water.

In order to meet the needs of building managers, CIAT launches the ECOBOX.

ECOBOX is a heat recovery system which draws energy from the extracted air, with a high-efficiency thermodynamic system to restore its calories for the production of Domestic Hot Water (maximum 55°C).

Three sizes are available: 30, 50, 90 for buildings with 30 to 275 rooms according to the fresh air flow rate.

Advantages of the ECOBOX range :

• High energy efficiency: COP of 3.5 all year round, because of the constant temperature for extracted air.

• Low sound level: propeller fan & insulated double skin panel

ECOBOX incorporates latest technologies:

• Latest generation of SCROLL compressors

• Brazed plate exchangers (reduced refrigerant load, high energy efficiency)

• Coil polyurethane coating as standard

• R410A refrigerant, efficiency and environmental protection. (ODP = 0; reduced refrigerant load)

• CLIMACIAT AHU frame and casing of proven quality.
