energy optimisation

Consume less

Many of its thermodynamic machines meet the most stringent classification (class A) in both cooling mode (EER and SEER) and heating mode (COP). The same applies to the HEE comfort units and the air handling units that use a high efficiency heat recovery unit. Numerous solutions have been incorporated to achieve substantial energy savings: for example, Brushless motor technology in comfort units (HEE) and EC fan motor assembly as standard on the dual-flow range of Floway units. Each element has been designed to ensure energy savings without compromising on performance and efficiency.

All performance data for the products are certified and can be checked on the Eurovent certification organisation's website..

Recover more

The principle of recovery is simple: because air conditioning is based on the transfer of heat, CIAT has designed a system for recovering the calories that until now had been wasted. This system allows total or partial recovery from water chillers. For total recovery, a water-cooled condenser is installed upstream of the air-cooled condenser. Partial recovery is carried out by a “desuperheater exchanger” installed on the compressor discharge. The recovery of heat from the air is also carried out by a dual-flow air handling unit, thanks to the integration of a rotary heat exchanger, plate recovery unit or a heat pipe.

Optimise and control

CIAT offers solutions to optimise energy for the whole installation with Smart CIATControl. Connected to all HVAC components (refrigeration, comfort units, air handling unit) and using a patented algorithm, Smart CIATControl adapts the efficiency of the thermodynamic producer to the needs of the emitters in real time. The controllers on the comfort units also have eu.bac 0.2 certification, an indicator of accuracy and energy performance.
