CIAT's Research and Innovation centre: one of the largest of its kind in Europe

Energy efficiency: produce more, consume less

At the heart of one of the field's largest research and innovation centres in Europe, teams of engineers use powerful tools to develop the systems of the future. They carry out basic and experimental research, optimise the performance levels of CIAT's equipment and test and confirm the efficiency of products on thermal, air handling and acoustic test benches. In conjunction with the official international bodies, CIAT's R&I centre participates in a number of certification programmes, including Eurovent. All CIAT's equipment carries the Eurovent label.

IAQL: Indoor Air Quality Laboratory

Since its creation, CIAT has always focused on the comfort and quality of air delivered by its products. The staff at the IAQL use 3D modelling and perform experiments to develop solutions that provide increasingly precise solutions in terms of the comfort felt by the occupants of an air conditioned space. Molecular filtration also features prominently among the phenomena studied.

Innovation: NEO sets the course for absolute purity

CIAT's Research and Development teams have developed and patented a highly efficient and revolutionary organic purification system. Called NEO, it works by trapping contaminants on activated carbon filters and using photocatalysis to destroy them. NEO is used in sophisticated air-handling equipment, such as Climaciat units, to provide an effective solution to microbiological contamination.
