CIAT Equips Bulgaria's Burgas and Varna Airports

CIAT has installed more than 40 rooftop units to ensure the air quality in the new terminals of Burgas and Varna airports. CIAT's Space PF rooftop units, which reduce energy consumption and feature high-efficiency filtration systems, will heat and cool the air in these terminals, from lobbies and departure lounges to technical premises and utility rooms.

Thanks to their tandem compressors, free-cooling function and active heat recovery system, which reclaims waste energy from exhaust air, these units offer the highest energy efficiency.

They also help with the air exchange in the terminals by extracting stale air outdoors and drawing fresh air indoors. They feature high-efficiency F7 filtration systems with activated carbon filters that trap odours. The models installed at the terminals range in several sizes and each have cooling capacities of 30 to 350 kW.
